Patrick Clancy, the father whose family was shattered by the deaths of his three children, has remarried following his divorce from Lindsay Clancy, who is preparing to stand trial on charges of murdering their children. The revelation came during a recent court hearing and has drawn renewed public interest in Patrick’s life as the high-profile case moves forward.
Who Did Patrick Clancy Marry?
According to reports, Patrick Clancy’s new wife is a reproductive endocrinologist and infertility specialist. While her identity has not been publicly disclosed, it has been confirmed that the couple now lives together in New York City.
Patrick’s remarriage was disclosed in court on July 23 by Lindsay Clancy’s defense attorney, Kevin Reddington, ahead of Patrick’s expected testimony as the prosecution’s first witness after opening statements.
Addressing the court, Reddington said Patrick has endured unimaginable tragedy and is trying to rebuild his life.
“Patrick Clancy has suffered one of the worst tragedies that anyone could ever suffer. How that guy is not an emotional basketcase is beyond me, and he is trying hard to move on with his life. As the court is aware, they’re divorced, he’s remarried, he has a family.”
Patrick Previously Divorced Lindsay Clancy
Patrick previously revealed that he had divorced Lindsay Clancy during an interview in 2024. Despite the horrific allegations against his former wife, he urged the public to show compassion, saying:
“I wasn’t married to a monster — I was married to someone who got sick.”
That interview marked his first and only extensive public comments about the case.
The Deaths of the Clancy Children
Lindsay Clancy faces charges in connection with the deaths of the couple’s three children—Cora, 5, Dawson, 3, and 8-month-old Callan.
Prosecutors allege that on January 24, 2023, Lindsay deliberately asked Patrick to leave their Massachusetts home to pick up dinner. When he returned approximately 25 minutes later, he found Lindsay seriously injured after she had jumped from a second-story window.
During a frantic 911 call, Patrick discovered the children had allegedly been strangled using exercise bands. Cora and Dawson died shortly after arriving at the hospital, while baby Callan died several days later.
Wrongful Death Lawsuit
Earlier this year, Patrick filed a wrongful death lawsuit against several of Lindsay’s healthcare providers on behalf of the estates of his three children.
The lawsuit alleges Lindsay was prescribed at least nine psychiatric medications in the months leading up to the killings, with eight medications prescribed within a three-week period. Among the medications listed were Prozac, Ambien, Remeron, Klonopin, Seroquel, Valium, and Lamictal.
According to the lawsuit, Patrick believes Lindsay developed severe psychiatric symptoms, including hearing what he described as a compelling male voice instructing her to “take” the children and end her own life.
Trial Continues
Patrick’s attorney has also asked the court to restrict public access to graphic evidence, including the children’s autopsy reports, crime scene photographs, and Patrick’s 911 call. Prosecutors have opposed that request.
Meanwhile, prosecutors are expected to argue that Lindsay carefully planned the killings by ensuring Patrick was away from the house before carrying out the alleged murders.
