The Irvine and Estill County, Kentucky, communities are mourning the passing of Anthony Wayne Wiseman, who died on Thursday, July 30, 2026, at the age of 55. A lifelong resident of Estill County, Wiseman was widely known as the owner of Wiseman Plumbing and as a familiar voice in the local dirt track racing community, where he served as an announcer for many years.
Born on May 3, 1971, in Estill County, Anthony was the son of the late Russell Wiseman and Patricia Ann Dunaway Wiseman. Throughout his life, he built a reputation as a hardworking businessman and a dedicated member of the community. Through Wiseman Plumbing, he served countless families and businesses across the region, earning the respect of customers and friends alike for his reliability, professionalism, and commitment to quality work.
Outside of his profession, Anthony had a lifelong passion for dirt track racing. As an announcer at local race tracks, he became a familiar and respected figure, bringing enthusiasm, excitement, and energy to race nights while helping create unforgettable experiences for drivers, crews, and fans. His love for the sport and engaging personality made him a beloved member of Kentucky’s racing community.
Above all, Anthony cherished his family. He is survived by his daughters, Vanessa Brooke Ross of Corbin and Natalie (Kody) Rayne Morris of Corbin; his beloved grandchildren, Tytus Braven Ross and Andrew James Morris; his companion, Lisa Harrison; his sister, Peggy (Kevin) Turpin of Estill County; his brothers, Tim (Sheila) Wiseman and Jeff (Angie) Wiseman, both of Estill County; as well as several nieces, nephews, extended family members, and many close friends.
Those who knew Anthony remember him for his strong work ethic, warm personality, and willingness to help others. Whether through his business, his dedication to dirt track racing, or his devotion to family and friends, he made a lasting impact on everyone fortunate enough to know him.
Family and friends will gather to celebrate Anthony’s life during visitation on Sunday, August 2, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Warren F. Toler Funeral Home in Irvine. Funeral services will begin at 1:00 p.m., followed by burial at White Oak Cemetery.
Anthony Wayne Wiseman will be remembered as a devoted father and grandfather, respected business owner, passionate racing announcer, and loyal friend. His legacy of hard work, kindness, and community service will continue to live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and the many people whose lives he touched.
