Born on August 13, 1995, Jared was the son of Sean Meyers and Rebecca (Funk) Keefer. He graduated from Lincoln High School in 2014, where he earned recognition as a standout athlete. As captain of the football team, he became one of Ellwood City’s leading rushers, participated in the Penn-Ohio football game, and also competed at the state level in track and field.
Following high school, Jared became co-owner and operator of Meyers Auto Group, working alongside his father. He built a reputation as a hardworking entrepreneur who was passionate about the automotive industry and deeply committed to serving his community.
Above all, Jared was known as a devoted family man. He is survived by his wife, Cassidy (Court) Meyers, whom he married in 2019, and their son, Griffin Jared Meyers, who was the center of his life. Friends and loved ones remembered Jared for his infectious smile, generous spirit, unforgettable sense of humor, and the genuine kindness he extended to everyone he met. Whether sharing stories, offering encouragement, or embracing friends with one of his signature hugs, he left a lasting impression on all who knew him.
Jared also had a passion for cars, motorcycles, fitness, and the Peloton community, where he ranked among the platform’s top achievers. Those closest to him described him as someone who always strived to become the best version of himself for his family and community.
