The Ridgefield community is mourning the passing of Maximilian Thomas “Max” Fehring, who died on Saturday, July 25, 2026, at the age of 17.
Max’s passing has left his family, friends, and loved ones heartbroken as they remember a young life filled with promise, love, and meaningful connections.
Max was the beloved son of Nicolas and Farah (Singh) Fehring and a cherished brother to Zoe and Olivia Fehring. His family will forever hold close the memories they created with him and the special place he held in their lives.
Those who knew Max are reflecting on the impact he made during his life and the joy he brought to those around him. His family and friends are coming together to honor his memory and support one another during this difficult time of loss.
A visitation for family and friends will be held on Sunday, August 2, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Kane Funeral Home, located at 25 Catoonah Street, Ridgefield.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, August 3, 2026, at 10:00 AM at Saint Mary Church, 55 Catoonah Street, Ridgefield. Interment will take place privately.
